Free Educational Programs For Residents, Families, Ombudsman & Advocates

As of November 28, 2017, all state surveyors are required to use a new survey
process when they conduct their annual nursing home inspection. The goal of
this new federal requirement is to provide a more resident-centered focus to the
survey and improve identification of care and quality of life deficiencies.

In this program, attendees will learn about the principal changes taking place
and what they should expect when their facility is inspected. It is important for
residents and families – and those who work with them – to know what to expect
so that they can ensure that the promise of the new survey is realized in their
nursing home.
